Shannon Hughes
Director of Production
Shannon Hughes is director of production for Decker Design. A project manager with over ten years of production experience in the communication arena Shannon has managed projects extending across a modern media menu from print to broadcast. Fantastically organized and meticulous, Shannon actually enjoys proofreading. Described by Lynda as the “air traffic controller” for the office, Shannon is the person who makes sure your projects land safely – and on time.
Previous to Decker Design, Shannon served as Operations Director at MVI Post. There she was responsible for scheduling audio and video editing sessions along with transcription. Acting as the main client liaison to the Discovery Channel and the National Football League, she gained knowledge of various systems and procedures that now facilitate Decker Design client services, both on and off the field.
Originally a Maryland native, Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Art Education from Frostburg State University. When she’s not scouring pages for typos, she also plays between the lines, being a fan of both tennis and drawing.
