Challenge

Create a differentiating website that also reflects the personality of the boutique litigation firm.

Solution

Leverage the firm’s relationships with fine art community to create a unique visual presentation.

Result

A new website that is responsive, artistic and presents the firm’s notable successes in a distinctive, authentic voice.

Dontzin Nagy & Fleissig is an elite team of trial lawyers with a 25 year history of delivering successful results in high-stakes disputes. They fight to win and their track record reflects success. They represent some of the world’s largest banks, hedge funds, and asset managers, ultra-high net-worth individuals, internationally acclaimed artists and galleries, and leading companies across industries.

We worked closely with the firm on a complete redesign to improve on the site structure as well as the overall look and feel. Fine art photographers John Bigelow Taylor and Diane Dubler brought an uncommon perspective to images that were shot on location outside the courthouses in downtown New York City.

Since biographies are the most important part of a law firm’s website, particular attention was given to the inclusion of client testimonials, at-a-glance information and a carousel treatment of the many notable matters.

The firm has had significant success in the art law working with galleries and collectors. A point of pride was the exposure of fraud conducted by the Knoedler & Company gallery, which closed in 2011.

The website update has provided the firm with a contemporary visual brand and a seamless digital experience across all devices.

Having a special commitment to public interest work, Matthew Dontzin is known for his human rights work in South Africa toward the end of apartheid. Overall the website update has provided the firm with a contemporary visual brand and a new seamless digital experience across all devices.
