URS, a multibillion dollar engineering firm acquired Washington Group International and needed an engineering visual brand system to unite the two companies’ communication.


A stainless-steel background was integrated into the visual language to unite the many disparate aspects of the company, ranging from energy, design, construction, and federal contracts.


The merger and acquisition was enormously successful—the company grew to over 50,000 employees in 50 countries with revenue over $10 billion until it was acquired by AECOM.
